The Improved Targeting Update is Here!

Say hello to the first of many major updates for Dentacare: Jaws of Battle. The focus of this release was improving the targeting system, in order to provide a more precise mechanism for selecting teeth. Let’s see what are the key highlights:

Improved Targeting

The new targeting system features sticky targeting and easier selection with the help of a radial mechanism. The mechanic allows players to pick their targets more precisely, by swiping left and right. In order to cancel the current action, players can drag their finger to the cancel zone at the bottom of the screen, where the card token lays. To see which targets are selected, a blue beam is displayed pointing to the target teeth. Teeth that are targeted will grow in size and a blue mist will appear on top of them to indicate selection. 

Card Filtering & Sorting

To help players better organise and sift through the card catalogue, we have also implemented a sorting and filtering mechanic in the deck building screen. To access it, just tap the up & down arrows button in the top right corner of the screen, next to the Card Catalogue label. Here’s a quick breakdown of its functionality:

Sorting

• Full Cards First
• Incomplete Cards First
• Latest Unlocked First
• Earliest Unlocked First

Filtering

• Action Type
• Quality
• Number of Teeth
• Unlocked Cards
• Fragments

Loading Screen Tips

Learning the ropes of a brand new game can be difficult. That is why we have implemented helpful tips to guide you through the basic game mechanics, while you wait during the loading screens. There you will find brief explanations of how to play the game, as well as how to take advantage of critical situations. And by the time you’re done reading, you will be ready to continue playing with extra knowledge on your hands.
